Transport for London (TfL) has announced a major, multi-week closure of the A40 Westway, a critical arterial route in west London. From 1 pm on Friday, 20 March, until late April, the entire stretch between the Westway roundabout and the Marylebone flyover will be shut in both directions. This shutdown will remove one of London’s busiest strategic corridors from the network, affecting up to 96,000 vehicles that typically use this section daily and placing significant pressure on surrounding roads and diversion routes.
