🤢 Spitting Attack on Police Officer
Neil Watson (21, Spring Close) admitted assaulting an emergency worker by spitting into a police officer’s mouth during an incident in Swindon on June 11. He received a 12-month community order and must complete 60 hours of unpaid work.
🚫 Illegal Property Entry
Kelly Woolford (51, Moredon) and Paul Currie (46, no fixed address) were caught inside a shut-down property on Moredon Road on January 12. The building had been closed since November 2025. Both pleaded guilty and were fined £100 each.
🔧 Car Crime Spree
Connor Kirkley (30, County Road) admitted:
- Interfering with 4 vehicles (including a Ford Transit van) on Jan 4
- Handling stolen mail/wallet on Jan 12
- Carrying a glass hammer for theft on Feb 2
He got a suspended 36-week jail sentence (suspended for 18 months) and must complete 20 rehab activity days. The court cited “realistic prospect of rehabilitation.”
🚗 Driving Ban for Repeat Offender
Bahadir Tas (31, Wroughton) was banned from driving for 12 months after two offences:
- Driving uninsured Audi A3 on Queens Drive (Jan 9)
- Failing to identify driver of Toyota Auris (Sep 2024)
He was fined £660 plus £528 surcharge and £85 costs – totaling £1,278.
🍻 Pub Chair Damage
Kyron Kofie (24, Chippenham) caused £187 damage to a Wetherspoons chair on November 20. His community order lasts until July 2027 and includes 20 rehab days, 85 hours unpaid work, and full compensation to the pub.
🍺 Teen Drink Driving on M4
Brooklyn Nicholls (18, Bridgend) blew 42mg of alcohol (legal limit: 35mg) while driving on M4’s exit sliproad near Chippenham (Jan 10). He received:
- 12-month driving ban (reducible by 3 months with alcohol course)
- £350 fine + £140 surcharge + £85 court costs
